Helping to furnish a home with new or used furniture and household items is a great way to meet immediate needs of refugee families in the Seattle area.Refugee families often flee their homes at a moment's notice or come from crowded refugee camps. They arrive at SeaTac airport with few belongings, a difficult past, and high hopes for the future. As part of the resettlement process, World Relief Seattle secures and furnishes an average of 2 apartments per week for newly arriving families.

You can also visit our Amazon Registry to directly purchase the highest need items for refugees’ first apartments and have them sent directly to our office for immediate use!
