Refugee Youth Summer Camp

  • Date: July 6th - August 7th, 2020 (M-F for 5 weeks)
  • Time: 9:00am - 2pm
  • Location: Mill Creek Middle School (620 Central Ave N, Kent, WA 98032)
  • Meals Served: Lunch
  • Grade Level: Refugee students going into grades K-8 (Fall 2020)
  • Cost: Free!
  • Transportation: May be provided to students within the Kent School District. Families will hear more specific information about the bus route in the weeks leading up to camp.

soccer camp add-on

 World Relief partners with Soccer Without Borders to provide a one-week soccer camp for refugee and immigrant youth in the Kent community who are going into grades K-12. This program occurs the week after Summer Academy ends. Many students participate in both programs over the summer, attending a combine six weeks of camp through World Relief.

  • Dates: Aug. 10th-14th 

  • Time: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 2:00pm 

  • Location: Kent Phoenix Academy (11000 SE 264th St, Kent, WA 98030)

  • Grade Level: Refugee/immigrant youth going into grades K-12 (Fall 2020)

  • Meals Served: Breakfast/Lunch

  • Cost: Free!

  • Transportation: May be provided to students within Kent School District. Families will hear more specific information about the bus route in the weeks leading up to camp.

Some important information to note: 

  • Space is limited. Submitting registration does not guarantee a spot at summer camp. 
  • If accepted, parents must attend a mandatory parent orientation on June 24th at 6:30pm at the World Relief office in Kent.
  • Please note that student attendance at camp is very important. Multiple student absences may result in a loss of the student's spot at camp, which will be given away to someone on the waiting list.
